VENDOR REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION

2. Return VENDOR APPLICATION w/fee,
3. Read VENDOR INFORMATION page completely,
4. VENDOR is responsible for providing their own canopy, table, chairs, necessary equipment to function for the days events,
5. ELECTRICITY must be requested in advance,
6. FOOD VENDORS please read items posted for sale located at the bottom of this page under "Reserved Foods". No duplicate menus please.
7. ON-LINE PAYMENT is available for your convenience. You may also send original Vendor Application and Hold Harmless Agreement with payment to: Makahiki in St. George, PO Box 910105, St. George, Utah 84791-0105
BOOTH REGULATIONS
All booths must be operational by 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2011 and 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2011 and staffed throughout the entire hours of the event. Tobacco sales are PROHIBITED. NO smoking allowed within the booths or surrounding areas. Alcohol sales and/or consumption of alcohol in the booth area is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. No live animals except those used to assist disabled persons will be allowed within or surrounding the booth. All amplified music must be kept to a reasonable volume and must not disturb adjacent booths. No lewd or suggestive material or products allowed. The committee of Makahiki In St. George reserves the right to refuse or remove any inappropriate merchandise displays, decorations, handbills, fliers, brochures, or signs.
SPACE AVAILABILITY
Vendor applications are reviewed and space assignments are made on a first-come first-serve basis based upon receipt of all applications. Applications and a $75 non refundable deposit is required to reserve your space. FESTIVAL ORGANIZERS RETAIN FINAL DISCRETION ON ALL BOOTH LOCATIONS.
ELECTRICITY
The Makahiki Committee will arrange for an electrical outlet if requested. DO NOT ASSUME you will have electricity unless you make the specific request.
SIGNS and ADVERTISING
No person shall erect, paint, paste or otherwise affix or distribute any signs, advertisements or circulars on park property without prior approval. The sale of anything or the solicitation of funds or donations within the park is forbidden.
OPEN FIRES
No person shall make or kindle any open fire except in fireplaces and grills provided for this purpose or in private portable commercially manufactured grills. Grills provided for public use shall be on a first come first serve basis.
FIREWORKS/EXPLOSIVES
No person shall discharge or set off in the park or recreation facility or areas, any firecrackers, rockets or any other fireworks or explosives.VIOLATORS will be PROSECUTED.
NUISANCE
It shall be unlawful for any person to use threatening, abusive, insulting or indecent language; to commit any obscene or indecent act; to fight; or to create a public disturbance or nuisance in the park. Any person who loiters in the park under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who otherwise disturbs the peace of park users by begging, soliciting, making undue noise or engaging in disruptive activities shall be deemed to create a nuisance.
CLEAN-UP
No CLEAN-UP DEPOSIT is required however, please keep your booth area clean and throw all trash in the bins provided. Vendor is responsible to take down booth and clean up assigned area before leaving the park.
ALCOHOL POLICY
The Makahiki in St. George Festival is a family-oriented event. Therefore, there will be NO ALCOHOL permitted on Festival grounds. Drugs and gambling of any kind is prohibited in any and all parks and recreation facilities and areas. Any persons selling or consuming alcohol, drugs or gambling will be escorted off the grounds. This will be STRICTLY ENFORCED.
OTHER/MISCELLANEOUS
Event organizers reserve the right to limit the number of applicants for any one type of goods/services thereby protecting all vendors and maintaining diversity for the Festival Event. Organizers also reserve the right to charge or substitute vendor spaces for the good of the Festival and its participants. No firearms, ammunition, alcoholic beverages or drugs are allowed on Festival grounds. No solicitation of tobacco or alcohol products is allowed.
